More Maxi, Please

If it wasn’t official before, it sure is now; I’m in love with my maxi skirt. I can’t stop dreaming up new outfits for this baby, and I’m definitely on the hunt for more. I want a double-layer, sheer one and bright, colorful one, for starters. I might even venture into maxi dresses soon, guys. What is my life lately?! I always swore off full lengths on me, because I’m only 5 feet tall, but I’m sure there’s more out there for short girls. And I will find them… For Science!

The last time you saw this skirt, it was a gothic/boho/gypsy look, and I freakin’ loved it! But this time, I went more in a more simplistic direction. After all, who doesn’t love basics? I’ve been gravitating toward them more and more and I can never get enough of a neutral outfit. I’m obsessed with mixing black and brown in a look, too. This look is no exception, clearly. Even my bag and wedges are sporting the color combo on their own. And for a sunny, warm Spring day, all I want is comfort, and the perfect basics, in the perfect colors. Not too much to ask, right?

A good maxi skirt or dress (or dress as a skirt!) is a true treasure! It goes with everything, is super comfy and gives you that hippie feeling all day–which I love. I love this one with the leopard print platforms!

It’s hard for me to find a good model for my figure, but I agree they are lovely to wear.

Talking about lovely … those wedges!

They’re incredible. I got them for my birthday last year, but I’m pretty sure they were from Target!

I love black and leopard too, that’s a sexy combo. And sure you can wear maxis, short or tall! I’m pretty tiny too and I couldn’t care less, I love a good maxi, it looks really stylish without any fuss. And I’m also on the hunt for a colorful one, I only have a black one, how boring am I??:D

I hope I’m able to find a suitable replacement for all of the maxi dresses I’ve been wearing while pregnant. I love the fit and length. They’re breezy but super modest! I love your simple combo!

You look GREAT in maxi lengths with your bump :) I can see why pregnant women wear them so much, because they’re so freakin easy and good for warm or cool weather. Thanks for stopping by, Kaelah :)
